Extensions & Payment Plans
30 day extension

If you need to request an extension to pay the fine, you may do so either in person or in writing.  If your request pertains to more than one offense, a separate form is needed for each request. Cases that are in a warrant status are not eligible for an extension.

Upon entering a plea of "guilty" or " no contest", the judge will accept the plea and enter a judgment with the fine and state costs due immediately. If you are unable to your fine(s) immediately you may request for a one time 30 day extension to make your payment. Only violations that are $127.00 and under are eligible for the extension. When you appear in person the appropriate documentation will be filled out and a copy will be given to you.

By Mail

If you would like to make your request by mail in writing, then complete the request form and send it to the clerks office. It is your responsibility to contact the Court to verify that we received your request. Once the court processes the request, a formal extension payment due notice will be mailed to the address you provided on the form.

Requesting a Payment Plan

(if you have a warrant then you must go to the warrant page for that application)

Upon entering a plea of "guilty" or " no contest", the judge will accept the plea and enter a judgment with the fine and state costs due immediately. If you need to request more than 30 days to pay your fine(s) and your total amount(s) owed are more than $127.00 you may be eligible to request a payment plan either in person or in writing.

There are 2 options that you have when requesting a payment plan. You may pay $50.00 down towards the amount you owe and not have to fill out an application. Your payment plan will then be $75.00 a month, minimal. If you're unable to pay $50.00 then you must complete an application and submit it with your request for a payment plan to the court in person. When you appear, the paper work will be reviewed and if you meet eligibility your case will be processed accordingly and your payment plan will be $75.00 a month.

If your case(s) are in a warrant status you will need to visit the warrant section.
