In order to install a new water line and make important safety improvements to the rod, Camp Craft Road will be closed from Bee Cave Road to Eanes School Road until approximately mid August. The work is a joint project between the City of West Lake Hills, the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT), and Travis County Water District 10.

Camp Craft Road Closure
Crews will close Camp Craft Road to all traffic between Bee Cave Road and Eanes School Road on Saturday, June 1 at 6 a.m. through mid-August, weather permitting, to install a waterline and reconstruct the roadway. Work is anticipated to occur Monday through Saturday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., with some night work.
All traffic on Bee Cave Road wishing to access Camp Craft Road will be detoured to Westbank Drive, where drivers can access Camp Craft Road from the south.
Drivers who need to access Elsass Academy Westlake and Trinity Episcopal School of Austin will need to do so via Bee Cave Road. Access to all other properties and residential streets will be maintained (see diagram below).
Camp Craft Road is anticipated to re-open to all traffic before the 2019/2020 school year begins, weather permitting.
